Wind along the Great Ocean Road that tracks the western coast of Victoria, visit Wilson’s Promontory the southernmost tip of mainland Australia or watch the Little Penguins borrow at sunset on Phillip Island.
Go further afield west to the Grampians where Grampians National Park features over 160 km of walking trails and myriad sites for rock climbing and abseiling.
Visit Victoria’s famous High Country in the northeast of the State, where winter weather offers the best of Australian skiing at Mount Buller, Mount Hotham and Fall’s Creek. When the snow melts, horse riding and mountain biking in the alpine reaches of Victoria’s highest peaks are national pastimes.

Further north, clinging to the border with her northern neighbour, Victoria’s Murray River stretches 2,700 km, skirting the Great Divide on its journey into South Australia. Long before white Australia settled here, the riverland was home to Aboriginal culture that endures today.
